Lions Gate Opening 2025
We kick off Leo Season with the Lions Gate Opening from the 28th July through to August 12th, which peaks on August 8th, 2025. With the Star Sirius, also known as our ‘Spiritual Sun’ being closest to Earth during this time, it brings a surge of Sirian energy into the earth planes.
Heralded in Ancient Egyptian times as a time of celebration and manifestation that coincided with the river Nile flooding and agricultural abundance.
The best time to receive this influx of Sirian energy is to be present when the sun rises on the 8th August with a major celestial lineup. The Sun in Leo aligns with the Star Sirius, Orion’s Belt, and top of the Pyramid in Giza in perfect harmony to receive the energy of the two suns.

Full Moon 9th August 2025
The Lions Gate Opening is closely followed by the Full Moon in Aquarius on 9th August, which is traditionally known as the ‘Sturgeon Moon’ or ‘Harvest Moon’ in Native American times.
Which highlights our connections to others including family, tribe and community. Uranus trines with Mars and along with the influence of Leo energy, it can help us feel more motivated to connect with others, join new groups, and step out of our comfort zone to try new things.
Uranus also sextiles Mercury which can lead to sudden breakthroughs in creative ideas that have long term sustainability and success.
